The ClearCorrect™ Process
Once you’ve decided that you’d like to pursue ClearCorrect treatment, your first step is to schedule a consultation with our office. During this appointment, we will evaluate your smile and discuss your personalized treatment plan with you. We will also take any necessary impressions of your teeth, which will be used to create your custom-made clear aligners.
Once we have all of the necessary information, we will send your information off to the ClearCorrect laboratory. The lab technicians will use the impressions to create a 3D model of your teeth, which will be used to design your treatment plan and clear aligners. This will be sent back to our office, where we will review the plan with you and answer any questions you may have.
Once you are ready to begin treatment, you will begin wearing your first set of clear aligners. You will need to wear these for at least 22 hours each day, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss. As you progress through each stage of treatment, you will need to switch to a new set of aligners roughly every two weeks. You will need to come in for regular checkups during treatment so that we can ensure that your progress is on track.
